Oh hey there sparkly beam of light!

Two things that were constant in my life were knowing I wanted to have creative ventures, and also be of service to humanity. I went through countless career dreams from becoming an actress, performer, fashion designer, veterinarian, marine biologist… (the list goes on). I had always loved my time lifeguarding and teaching swimming so I thought becoming a pediatrician might be the right path for me to help children. With that, I entered into sciences at Dalhousie University. My logic-based career decision lasted about one week. No matter how much sense it made, my true self knew this was not my passion. I made the switch to a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a major in Marketing Management to bring on the creativity.

After university, I decided to move to Australia for 2 years. Many amazing friendships, life lessons, and adventures later I returned to Canada where working 9-5’s that did not fulfill my soul whatsoever took over for a while. During this time I was met with life lessons that required a lot of my energy to recover from and heal.  

Healing is certainly not linear, but when I got through some of the heavier wounding I spent a couple of years building a side business in network marketing, which was a wonderful and educational experience on my path.

After this, my entrepreneurial spirit moved me to start my podcast and a few years later to teach yoga. All this being said, it just shows you that every part of your soul journey is valid and is leading you to where you are meant to be, even if it doesn’t always make sense while you’re in the process.

It’s been a long and winding path to get to this space, with lessons and opportunities for learning and growth along the way, but I am so grateful for every bit of it. It all led me to more clarity, alignment, and connection with my inner knowing. I learned to drop the masks and let my true self shine knowing that the people who were meant to be in my life would love and appreciate every bit of me.
